15 min guitar workout for very busy people! WEEK 1 – lee wrathe:
Find 3 x 5 min per day for 30 days and see your playing improve!
Why do it?
Firstly, let me say, I know you want to do this, but…We are all too busy to fit in hours of daily practice and this can feel disheartening. Feeling negative about your lack of practice leads to you feel anxious about guitar playing, which removes the enjoyment and stops you bothering. The guitar becomes an object that tortures you from across the room and a vicious circle ensues!
Don’t worry though, you’re not alone and I have designed a practice schedule that even the busiest person should be able to fit into their lives. I have set it up in such a way that each exercise can be substituted with other scales for instance, as you learn and improve. So even if you’re already a guitar God you should be able to use your own mind and skills to take the principle of the daily routine and make it your own.
If you’re struggling to find 15min per day, ask yourself some really honest questions about what you want to achieve in your life, how important those goals are to you (however small) and then adjust your lifestyle to make them happen. You deserve to be happy. If becoming a better guitar player will make you happier, then welcome aboard!
I have condensed our practice into 3, 5min sections ..as it’s even easier to find 5min at a time across your day.
Those 5min are topic based and each week I will change the exercises.
At the end of the 4 weeks I will show you how everything you’ve learnt fits together to form your new awesome ability! …Like the giant robot from Starfleet, do you remember that?!
The topics we’ll use for this practice schedule are
Week 1
