Learning what chords to play in any key can be a cumbersome task for a lot of guitarists… typically, most guitarists i know, even very experienced ones, know chords in the commonly-used guitar keys (A, B, C, D, E, F, and G), but will get stumped when it comes to some of the others, like Bb or Db. Using this simple trick, even a novice guitar player can learn what basic major, minor, and diminished chords can be used in any key! Its so easy!
Like i said, this is by no means a be-all, end-all lesson on WHY those chords work. The answer to that is slightly more involved. We will cover that another time. But, this is a simple trick that will get you chording in any key right away!
